If your hard drive actually re-formatted itself, there's not much to be done to try and get your save file back.  I suggest looking around (there isn't one here, at the moment, unless someone wants to upload one, and even then I don't know if it'd hit the upload limit) the internet for a (SAFE) save file roughly around where yours was.
