errr...im not sure if this is FS2 or something with the TBP .vps, but the nebulas appear to be mixed up a bit.

Here it is in FRED, perfectly allright and acceptable.



And here it is in FS2:





now this is very strange.

This may seem like a random question, but are the pcx placeholders and the final background nebulas matching in all cases?  If one gets changed (as those look like Lightspeed's nebulas, or variants of them) without changing both the pcx and the dds/tga, you'd get exactly the effect you're showing off.

no, its not that.

I just changed to taylor's 01032005 build and this problem just vanished. Looks like it's a build issue, as opposed to a something wrong with the nebulas themselves. Apologies, i really should have checked it first before posting here :/
