waiting for 3.6 so that fs2_open will run for me again.  Can't do much when I get framerates of 3.0 per second.

you get 3.0 FPS with HT&L on, and extra features turned off?!

Are you using OGL or D3D.
I imagine OGL will work better on your system.

Indeed, back when I had a TNT2, it was never that strong on D3D. :o

Mebbe we can all chip in and get Sesq a new card.  Scroll is one of my most anticipated campaigns on this board. :)

Well, I'd love a new card, but if you can get 3.6 to skip all those graphical enhancements COMPLETELY unless turned on by the user, that should do.

We've tried that, but unfortunately DX8 slows down anyway because of some new way that it renders things. :sigh: HT&L should work.  We'll try to whip up a build for you that uses HT&L but leaves everything else turned off.

well i'll see if i can put some money away for a graphics card/wedding present for sesq.  i guess the explorer (http://www.espguitars.com/images/guitars/EX400BD.jpg) will have to wait.  I have college to pay for as well

I love Halifax.  Vancouver is cool, but there's just something about Halifax.  What are you studying at Dalhousie?

I havent really decided yet...  I have a bit of time to decide anyway, and I'm in no rush.  Looking at other options too right now. St. FX is looking good, or I may not even go to Uni. Looking into what places offer the MCSE courses....

*peers sleepily at Moonsword*

I dunno about other people (I know there's a lot of RL stuff going on at the moment), but I'll be Fredding again as soon as I get my new 'puter - gotta get a cheque from the IR first, though - hard to tell exactly when it'll arrive. :)

That might work. ;)

P.S. In case anyone is wondering, catastrophic system failures do little to help one keep on track with Fredding misions (especially when one uses the same machine for all one's serious work too)
