well sesq does have a TNT 2 so that won't work. Perhaps i can buy him a Radeon or GF4 when i pay off college

Post by: Goober5000 on February 24, 2004, 08:55:13 am: We've tried that, but unfortunately DX8 slows down anyway because of some new way that it renders things. :sigh: HT&L should work. We'll try to whip up a build for you that uses HT&L but leaves everything else turned off.

P.S. In case anyone is wondering, catastrophic system failures do little to help one keep on track with Fredding misions (especially when one uses the same machine for all one's serious work too)
