Title: Mipmaps?

Hi there, noob question inbound in 3..2..1.. ;-)

Does the 'enable mipmaps' option in the launcher settings make any real difference, as I have not noticed any changes. What are the pros and cons of enabling it?

The option does nothing in current builds and will be removed in the future.

False, The E. Checking this box causes the game to map your mips.

Is this true? I don't remember giving my consent to have my mips mapped. Can we expect a updated private policy email from the SCP on this matter soon? Surely the SCP will abide by the new european laws?
