Chalk another up there...
Heavy Rain.  If you've played it, you know EXACTLY what scene I'm talking about.
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

What a shame.
I will ask that you explain yourself. Please do so with the clear understanding that I may decide I am angry enough to destroy all of you and raze this sickening mausoleum of fraud down to the naked rock it stands on.

Blue Planet: AoA
Spoiler:
Sam reliving the mission in Capella where his wife and mother were killed.

Fallout 3
Spoiler:
Watching your father's death at Project Purity and then your own at the end. Although, you live if you have Broken Steel installed.

Resident Evil 5
Spoiler:
Chris and Jill reuniting after the fight.

The Sabotuer
Spoiler:
When Sean watches his best friend get tortured and murdered by the Nazis.

Half-Life 2 Episode 2
Spoiler:

Bioshock 2
All three endings got to me.
Spoiler:
The good ending when Elenor absorbs Delta's memories to save him and so he can guide her. The nuetral ending where Delta chooses to die so Elenor can be redeemed for for the evil she has done before their escape. And the Evil ending where Elenor takes Delta's memories to gain his killer and survival instincts to use against the world.

Sam & Max 305: The City That Dares Not Sleep
Spoiler:
Max's death, followed by Sam's sad walk through the city during the credits, where his head is lowered as he bypasses all of the crimes in progress. The piano music playing in this scene was beautiful and helped set the mood. Then there was the twist that came afterwards.

....  I most emphatically disagree with the notion that either of those two events were either emotional or 'impactful'.  Most emphatically.

Totally impactful was the moment when I heard that there are far more than one Sathanas-Juggernauts in the Nebula :shaking:

And F.E.A.R (+ expansions), full of impactful moments if you understand :eek2:

"Ka-BOOOOOOOOM!!!!"
"Uh, Sir we can hear the explosion."
"No you can't, there is no air in space. Sound can't travel through a vacuum!"

Re: Most Emotional/Impactful Moment In A Game (Possible Spoilers!)
PoP - Sands of Time - the last bit of end cinematic when the Prince tells her his name
Thief - going into the haunted Cathedral or exploring the lost city were both pretty intense. I'd get goosebumps just fighting this friggin little spiders because health and arrows were precious and it was hard to hit with the sword.

I liked Lone Wolf as purely a display of the sheer ballsy badassitude of Noble 6.

And yeah, it got to me a bit.

Re: Most Emotional/Impactful Moment In A Game (Possible Spoilers!)
I liked Lone Wolf mostly as a way of (finally) integrating gameplay and story the way Halo has so often failed to.

Unfortunately they chickened out and didn't let you play the actual death, just went to a cutscene. Then they wrecked it with the awful Halsey monologue.
