i heard something about a multiple mod selection feature in fs open, which i need to use to use my media VPs with JAD. can someone explain it?

if your jad folder is named jad, add this to you custom flags:

-mod jad,mediavps

And isn't that specified in the mod.ini?

The latest versions of JAD have a mod.ini with them that will automagically make sure the mediavps are selected (as long as that folder is called mediavps). All you'd have to do is select JAD as your mod.
