Hi!

I just reinstalled FSO and everything works fine, except there are no new shockwave effects.
I ticked "3D shockwaves" on launcher.
I can't remember how i got those new effects when i last played it.

Well, without MV_Assets, you won't have high-poly ships. The shockwave is in MV_Effects however.

You might want to either: try again or: Manually re-download the MediaVPs files from the Release thread for them.

Also, it helps attaching an fs2_open.log. Instructions are in the sticky post on the top of this Forum group.
