No, but still, they don't have to care for time/resource as terrans would. They don't actually get their stuff from planets you know.

Still, I would like to know where you got your information. I can recall no official release of information by Volition beyond what they told us in the games, and I have been a fan of this universe-work since
before FS: The Great War was released. The only thing I can recall offhand is a rep from Volition shooting down speculation that the Shivans were either androids or cyborgs.
