i'm trying to get the spec lighting to work, and whenever i try and run the TBP in OpenGL i get this

Error: Current GL Version of 1.0 is less than required version of 1.2
Switch video modes or update drivers

i click ok and the games runs but when i veiw the ships in the techroom shine maps look erm, whats the rite word... Blocky, its the only way i can describe it. Then after a while the game crashes at random and i get en error message saying my video card has timed out. or failed to respond. It works perfectly under D3D.

Oh yeah i'm using the build that came with release 3.2

my system specs are
Athlon 2600XP+
512DDR ram
Radeon 9700 catalyst 5.6

TBP works fine in Direct3D so I don't think it's TBP related. You already found it, but those coming after you should keep this thread on eye.

taylor and other SCP OGL gurus will most likely fix it someday.
