Patience is a virtue my friend.  :)  You've already had a couple of offers to upgrade the Hades turret count (which I assume is all you want done) but you can't expect it to happen overnight.  Most (read: all) of us have other things going on in our lives, so we can't drop everything everytime someone wants a modification.  While I encourage you to learn the art of modding, it really should be under different circumstances.

That said, look at Kara's sig/the Wiki for the modding tutorial.  Learning to model in 3d is an art form in its own right, but the best way to learn truespace (or any other program for that matter) is to sit down and play around in it until you feel comfortable with it.
