No voices in War in Heaven part 2??
Just finished act 1, what a ride... Act 2 doesn't have any voices! I have the complete installation, what could be the problem here? Do you need a debug log?

If you mean everything after Delenda Est/Sunglare, we haven't been able to voice act those missions yet.

Acts 1 and 2(selectable as part 1 in the campaign list), and The Blade Itself are voiced. Act 3(part 2 in the campaign list) isn't. Anything after Noemi joins the Fedayeen isn't voiced... yet.

Yes, and by 'right from the get-go' you mean the missions in Part 2, right? Everything after Delenda Est/Sunglare (the end of Part 1)? We haven't been able to voice act those missions yet.

Oooooooooh I see. I thought the selection of part two in the campaigns screen was act 2, etc etc etc. Makes sense now.

Dang. After such an epic finish... Really hope that project gets finished!

Missions on the Solaris are act 1(that's until My Brother, My enemy where you take on Xinny and Zero), missions on the Indus are act 2. You'll notice a loading screen change with the act names, just like in AoA(which has 5 acts but they're all in the same campaign).

You can turn on the computer generated speech from the launcher if you wish. It's pretty awful but it does mean you don't need to read every message as you can have them spoken to you.

You can turn on the computer generated speech from the launcher if you wish. It's pretty awful but it does mean you don't need to read every message as you can have them spoken to you.

Is this possible with wxLauncher? I'm not seeing the option.

In the "Basic Settings" tab, on the middle of the right-hand side, you should see "Use simulated speech in:" with four checkboxes underneath it.

On my wxLauncher the speech is between Audio and Joystick. Also your UI looks different, is it a Mac version or something?

There's been a Mantis issue for adding speech to Mac for a while; unfortunately it's still not working as of last year.

i really hope the War in Heaven II could get some voice act soon.
im so brand new to this franchise, and i enjoyed played through The Stories (normal ver. - Ancient Shivan War - Blue Planet)
the Blue planet is by far the most Jaw dropping and have amazing storyline.  (got a little question tho - why the Ancient Shivan War Ships are exactly similar to the Vishnus? are they..  the same 8000 years aliens??)
without the the Voice act, its really confusing to recap the "Dreamscape" stuff.. and the missions are pretty difficult.. (after the one where we destroy the Vasudan's convoy and meet the Typhon class in dreamscape)

Different modding groups use the same assets (models, textures, skyboxes, etc). They don't usually have any continuity story-wise with each other.
