Anyway, let's stop depressing the guy any further. I know I mentioned I was waiting for Wagnaria!! (originally Working!! in Japan), and I've watched my DVD set twice since then. I do like these slice-of-life shows since they're easy to watch at any time, and Wagnaria!! didn't disappoint me. Granted, Inami's punching of Takanashi sort of got a bit tiring after a while, though I don't dislike her character for it since, well, it's her father's fault, and seeing Takanashi give him a verbal beat-down (while cross-dressing!) was immensely satisfying. But it's mainly a very fun and quirky show, and hopefully it doesn't take NIS America long to get the second season out on DVD (if they haven't already).

I'm watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and I'm freaking loving it!! I'm at episode 25.

Well i stopped giving a **** midway through SD Gundam Force. That was nearly a decade ago when it was originally airing. It didn't take me long to figure a lot of scenes and designs ARE being recycled throughout the series. Slap on a GUNDAM sticker and there's sure to be cyclops robots.

Trying to decide what to watch next:

Fullmetal Panic!: I have heard a lot about this series and it sounds awesome but I have never gotten around to watching it.

Mai-HIME/Mai-Otome: Another one I've heard a lot about and sounds interesting but have never gotten around to watching.

Attack on Titan: Freaking EVERYONE seems to be talking about this. I'm curious as to why.


Also Fate/Stay Night just arrived in the mail (the VN, that is). Yeah, I'm diving into the Fate series. Let's see how that goes.

On the manga side, still attempting to find the final four volumes of Char's Deleted Affair, but it seems nobody on the face of the Earth has them translated. All my rage and frustration.

I'm interested in hearing what your opinion ends up being of the Fate/Stay Night VN. I quite enjoyed it, and played through all of the routes completely.

mrs and me started watching Gintama. the first "dual" episode promised something like excel saga. which i would be fine with. second episode went into "oh yes, honor, yes, samurai, honor, yes" and we both went **** that at the end of that one. will try watching more a few days later.

Gintama is really a weird one. Most of the time it is off-the-rails kind of humor that may not be to everyone's taste. But every now and then there's a story arc that is truly awesome. I too dropped the series and have since forgotten where I left it. But if you stick with the series, I can guarantee you'll be getting at least some good laughs.

Finally got to see some Black Lagoon (and it is awesome).

Also started watching this French flash series called Wakfu.  It's surprisingly entertaining.  French dub/English sub is a refreshing change.
