Yeah okay, good for them. But my 3ghz isn't going to get me to the moon. And this knowledge sure as hell isn't making my setup go any faster.

Yeah, the AGC is an amazing piece of computing history.
But knowing it exists doesn't make me less irritated with the old piece of crap laptop I am typing this post on right now for its slowness, noise and heat.

Having more RAM is great because it gives you more memory to fill with separate instances of Chrome for every standalone application

Hardware doesn't lose performance over time, it's just that software is getting ridiculously resource-heavy. You could write just as comfortably here onsoftware from couple years back. (I know, security.)
