Chapter 4 has finally come about, ready for all to enjoy!  It was originally released over a month ago,  but due to certain problems I was unable to announce it here.

Some of you may be wondering what took so long?  Well, the obvious reason is that Chapter 4 is twenty-one missions long and introduces some new factors into the Exiles interesting existence.  At some points, the story line will bring up more questions than it answers, but this is just one chapter in an extended campaign.

I have a few Bugs with Cpt 2 and 3.. i can't go to the Weapon Selection Screen without a CTD. Always when i select the New Weapons i have this CTD.. and in the Last Missions (last three Missions) from Cpt 3, i have always a CTD, because i have a Message that Laser07.pof is missing :?

But i will play Cpt 4 soon

The first three chapters are in the process of being redone.  Chapter 1 is pretty much bug free so it will be put back on soon.  Chapters 2 & 3 need some work.  As for the link, some times geocities gets kind of finky, just keep trying, you'll get it eventually.

I actually managed to correct the bugs I was having with 3&4 by ripping the necessary POF files from Chapter 2. 4 did something odd with textures, but exiting the game and coming back cured that.

Overall: Two thumbs up. Now excuse me while I go watch the beautiful explosions of the escorting ships for the the Shiamak again...*unloads his Trinity torpedos*

The reason why you might be having problems with chapter 3 is because chapter 2 is required to play chapter 3.  Just have both of the VP files in your FS2 directory and you should be fine.

Well, one person likes it, anyone else have some constructive comments?  Anything will help.

I'm trying to play chapter 4 and when I go to start the campaign it I get a error saying a model is missing or something like that, it has to do with a missle model.

MissileXXL, as well as the Vindhyachal (or whatever).  I got both those errors and then ended up copying the entire Ch2 models directory into FS2\models, so I don't know if those are the only two.

Some briefings lacked music also.

I just finished all 4 chapters and they were great fun for the most part, but other parts were lacking.  I'd post a review except I have exams in a few days. I can give you a full review over ICQ after the semester's over, if you like.

Hmm, I had the same problem. So you needed the chapter 2 files to solve it? Is there some place to download them?
