I'm gonna start on this one, if Wolf could give me any indication of what his plans were (Judging by my previous problems, I'd rather not rush into things.)

EDIT: I've also started work on what was going to be an SOC mission (get destroy a pirate corvette, with either you as a stealth fighter wing or as a fake group of pirates) but I've realised could be changed to turn it into a loop mission involving the Bedford, the Merc Aoulus that turns up in my mission, any ideas or am I being over ambitious?

I'm open to suggestions :) I certainly don't mind an SOC mission being added as long as it fits in with the rest of the plotline. Write it up and post it. :)

After the Adur mission to ensure that the MC Bedford does not interfere in any further GTVA operations and that an "un-cooperative" element is removed, the SOC is tasked with removing the Cruiser and any assets attached to it.  After having a spate of good missions the SOC askes the pilot to assist in the Op.

[Now, here is my problem, I don't know which mission should be done, I have seen more of the first mission done but the second one is a bit vague]

1)  Alpha, Beta and the "MC Lonewolf" in pirate disguises attack the Cruiser as it is being repaired.  The cruiser has a Faustien nearby as a 'base' with a few cargo containers nearby and one or two large cargo containers.  It is then a simple operation of destroying all remains of the mercinary outpost and leaving no one left.  Rather simple, but most of the enemy fighters and bombers will be present at the start, so the first initial wave will be quite hard to beat.

2) Alpha and Beta wing in Pegasus' will start be tasked with disabeling and destroying the comms system on the cruiser and 'Base'.  Alpha and Beta will then engage the fighters, bombers etc. while another friendly ship will arrive, remove the remaining hostiles and RTB

In both these missions there will be a NTR transport present, this will be a bonus objective to capture.  Any ideas or comments would be great, and as I say I'd rather not start mission 5 till I hear from Wolf.  Failing that I'll go help any TBP missions as I have that up and running.

I think I prefer the second. There aren't many missions where the player gets to fly the pegasus :D

Good, the first one sounded too normal.  A question, is the Pegasus' stealth always on and what effect does it have?

Stealth is always on. It has the effect of making the enemy ships ignore you a bit (sort as if they can't find you for a few seconds). It won't stop them shooting at you.

If you want to do complete stealth like in A Monster In The Mist you need to use protect-ship to make the enemy completely ignore you.

The normal stealth should be just fine then, only major problem would be disabling vessels without either SDG's or Stilleto's.  I suppose I could enhance Alpha 2+3 and have them escort Alpha 1 with the SDG's, but I don't think that would be popular.

That could be tricky. I wouldn't recommend leaving it up to the AI to disable anything either.

What you could try is a force surrender method (i.e damage a ship below a certain percentage and it surrenders). That would certain seem believable for something like the bonus objective.

It turns out that you can disable the target vessel with Prom's, but you just need to be accurate and not let your wingmen have thier evil way with it.  Also set it in an asteroid field (First attempt resulted in a vast field with 50 asteroids...a bit empty).
