Throtle use on Joystick
Ok I know this question has been akes and answered before, but I can't find it so I'll be stupid and ask agaiin.
How do I get the throtle on my joystick to work with FS2 Open and SCP, instead of useing the A and backspace keys?
Joystick is a MSSidewinder.

Thanks

Re: Throtle use on Joystick
Contra-question: Have you bound the throttle axis to absolute throttle axis in controls screen?

...Anyway, you don't need the throttle control as much as you might think. I use almost exclusively the Full throttle - zero throttle keys, and sometimes match speed.

I also have them set up similarly to X-Wing vs TIE Fighter key layout, as in

Backspace = 100 % Throttle
* = 0 % throttle (or whatever is the key in your layout, next to enter, in third row [number row bing the first] )
Enter = match throttle

Keys give faster control in this case.

Exept if you use glide build and fly glide-enabled ship... :p
There are three things that last forever: Abort, Retry, Fail - and the greatest of these is Fail.

Have I bound what to what? LOL Mate all I did was map a few keys on the keyboard and stick a= accelerate, backspace= slowdown, button 10 on the stick= full, button 6on the stick = match.
