Warhammer, long lost game
I know how tight-lipped moderators are about freeware, but i cant find this game ANYWHERE. not on ebay, not in stores, not anywhere.

So does anyone know where i can download Warhammer: Shadow Of The Horned Rat, Warhammer : Dark Omen, or Epic 40,000 : Final Liberation?

I've heard these games are pretty awesome, ive seen them played at one of my friends' houses, and i want it sooooooo bad. :sigh:

Heh, they were good games, SoTHR was probably one of the best, though the AI on the cannon tended to make them fire into your own units, which was annoying ;)

Final Liberation was once available from HotU, but was removed at the request of Games Workshop. (Though you can get a freeware conversion of Space Hulk there.)

Their products being overpriced (and their clientle often elitest snobs), they naturally fear greatly free alternatives that don't make you interact with the existing community.

Dark Omen was really awesome.. all those crossbowmen shooting at the backs of the swordmen.. And killing the final enemy by first entangling him with fire bonds and then driving steam tank over him :D
