I thought I might drop in a few shots of EOTP ships; not in Freespace 2, yet, but modeled high poly for TV.

If anyone is intrested in remodeling them in Freespace 2, I might be able to finally get the mod off the ground.

Its from a project I'm working on called Echoes of the Past, Visions of the Future.

So, as a general advice, make it less cartoony and it'll be loads better. The CDF Heavy Cruiser is the best from the lot.

Make those things look INSANELY, OBSCENELY HUGE in-game, and I'm your *****. Some of those things look made for large sizes.

They look really good IMO, certainly you've captured a style, which, though somewhat traditional as Sci Fi stuff goes, is far from bad.

But honestly... Lion of Judah?

Silent Warrior - The Lion of Judah will likely never be in FS2 since the mod I have planned out doesn't include it But, its supposed to be roughly a mile long. So yeah, its /BIG/.

The CA (Heavy Cruiser) is pretty damn big, and will be in game, if I can ever get someone to remodel em low poly and convert it in.

....as for comments on the name, CSV Lion of Judah is the name.

Once I get around to putting up the website for the project that's sitting on my hard drive, you'll understand why.

'cause they're 60-80K polies, and I know FS2 engine, even upgraded, can't handle that.

I know they were saying it could take 20K, but I wouldn't want to put  a model in that's over 2500, since i want a few on the screen at the same time. :>

Yes, but my GTC cube is a different model. It's not even a real cube

I thought Steak made the GTC Cube. Or at least the render. And added the wings.
