Mesh is close to completion, I managed to get someone to do the crate for it as well, he graciously agreed to do it after getting plastered with ****tly made turtle images :P

It's a frikking space-turtle!
Wonder if paradox might be interested in adding this sort of thing to Stellaris. I'd love to see a huge spacefaring turtle race.

Hopefully soon there will be a tiny little turtle flying around ingame c:, and yeah I'd love to see a turtle-like species in a game.
Update: Check out p3d linkie, Added some more model details and uvampped the main mesh, Strapped some single part turrets in appropriate places(Used the htl setekh ones). It survived the bake in the oven and is fresh and ready to texture. c:
Still there's the crate itself left, but should not be much of a problem, its just a box.

Getting close to a release, testing out docking and running general tests on the mesh (Ramming, docking ect) and the new shiny crate.
Whats missing :
Debris models for Bes and VAC5.
Some minor texture tuning on Bes.
