January's Theme is WARPING. Show me cool shots of ships warping in or out. Can be FS2 warp, or BSG warp or anything else that looks cool while breaking the speed of light.

The rules are:
No HUD!
No Photoshop or post-processing!! (That is, no touching it up after taking the screenshot)
Maximum 3 entries per person!!!

I'm trying to do something but I both can't get the ScreenCam script mod to show up as a mod in wxlauncher and I can't find my screenshot location.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I downloaded the script package, which should be launchable as a mod, correct?

You have to add it in mod.ini as a dependency to whatever mod you're using.
Screenshot location is %appdata%\HardLightProductions\FreeSpaceOpen\screenshots for 3.8.0.

You need the to separate the mods with comma's, and put the semi-colon at the end of the line.

Okay, since the newsletter isn't going to be as monthly this year, we're going to move the screencap judging to the threads.

As usual, you guys make it so hard to judge these. But I think this month's winner will be...



Niffiwan's really cool Star Wars Hyperspace effect! He almost spoiled to me how its done and I don't want to know! It's magic like that that makes this community really cool. Coming up with ways to do effects unseen before, even after the game has been out for almost 2 decades!
