Just one more info - ALL ships in this mod will be faster than "normal". (I'm fed up with an interceptor flying at 100m/s [ or 360km/h, or 200mp/h])

The fastest fighter will go at least 200m/s
Missiles will allso be faster acordingly....

If you're going for super speed, then you're going to run into MAJOR problems.

For example, a ship won't warp out properly. The node will open too far ahead of it.

AFAIK, AI is gone above 140ms, so good luck. perhaps it's better to just use these speeds, and think they should just be multiplied by 10.

Dude, it's like this - the Ascart fighter is really quite tasty. You really ought to turn that Vasudan fighter into a cruiser, on the basis that it's basically a Mentu. The spacedock is indeed an uber-rip, though it's a cool design - shame it's not a Trashman original. The Iowa class - assuming we're looking at its arse, it's reminding me of the Colossus a lot.

The rest are so-so at best.

the Vangaurd and Civy outpost are cool (can we download the civy post?) and the vasudan fighter is cool, but not too vasudan.

Carrier and Paladin :

the construction dock is just the federation one from ST:A

Lets face it - such a construction dock is very functional!

Most ships are going to be polished up, or re-done.
I might turn the Vasudan fighter into a Heavy fighter/bomber....
The pic of the carrier is an older one...
Paladin needs better textures...
Civ outpost is s not finished...
Ascard Fighter now looks even better.....

The ships are actually quite good.
They are kind of functional and I appreciate that style.
Just as detailed as most of the V models, and with proper texturing they'll look even better.

Paladin needs a lot more imho. It's more or less a small ship with a glorified 2km rectangle stuck on the end with big ass turrets.

Carrier is ok, but I don't really care for th ewang shape myself, as most, if not all of the Terran's ships are hard shapes, not smooth like a dork.

Please don't put words into my mouth.  The last person who did that didn't like it.  I have never said you guys will get hosting soon.  I haven't said you won't either.  I have merely said what you need to do for us to consider hosting you.

You need more information on your site as well as some converted models before we would realistically consider hosting you.  I've told you what you need before we'll actually take the look at your site that will have us decide on hosting you or not.  Plus, Gamespy is the final arbiter.

Keep that in mind.

Probably a bad idea to use coloquial language for tech descriptions.  It just doesn't look professional.

First of all: random exclamation marks don't really help

Second: the descriptions of the weapons are a bit lacking

Hermes:

A bad bad rocket...Imagine a heat seaking Tempest then launch it and it will spell a smile on your face....

Flamer:

The Flamer is a mini rocket that does small damage... but you can fire 40 of those rockets in 5 seconds .....

These might be alright for during a mission but really aren't tech room material
