I think he means it'd look better upside down.
Direction/orientation in space is just relative anyway though, just flip it in FRED if you want. Even if you don't...it'll look upside down 50% of the time assuming a non-planar mission :P

Yeah, the original design for the Solaris (initially called the Arashi) was the other way up. It was then flipped since consensus was it looked better that way.
