game freezes

when running SCP with the recent MediaVPS, my game tends to freeze up at random points.  im not really sure whats causing it but im guessing its the temperature.  when checking the temperature, its usually around the 50 celsius mark or 55 (i can't tell until after a computer reboot and a few degrees already went down).

im just wondering if it is overheating hardware thats causing it, my game doesn't seem to have any framerate issues and runs very smoothly.

my specs
ASUS P4P800Deluxe
Intel 2.6 ghz processor
1.5gigs of ram
aiw x800xt 256mb
