Okay, finally getting around to playing WiH through for the second time, and I finally discovered the checkpoint option for the mission.
On the last playthrough I did reach checkpoint 3, but was unable to dock with the Indus because of the closed landing bay door just as it got fried by the Tev bombers. I downloaded the patch so hopefully that's fixed.
Now I want to give it another shot & use the checkpoint to reset to CP2, so I make the selection from the comms menu, but it doesn't reset the mission to the last saved point!
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
PS - I'm using the new fred2_open_3_6_17_SSE2_BP and have downloaded the updated version of AOA if that makes a difference.

If this broke I am literally going to kill myself. I will have an aneurysm and self destruct.
I assume (just to be totally sure) you're playing in campaign mode, not from the techroom?

1) You haven't precised, so just to make sure, you're using this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=70745.0) version of WiH ? You only said you've updated AoA.
2) Were you playing from the tech room or through campaign ?

Yes I was in campaign mode, but it looks like I missed the complete installer update portion on the release page.
Let me re-download and give in another shot in a few days to work through the whole WiH campaign.

Good news, looks like it was my fault, everything is working now with the complete installer!
