I went and assembled one big image of all the Tachyon concept art if anyone's interested
in seeing what came from what. Has comparison pics with the ingame units.
May take a while to load, it's about 10.5 MB.
If you get an attack site warning, no that's not us, it's dreamhost.com being
blacklisted for something else.... *sigh*

There's actually more art in the user manual... of bases and other ships, characters, etc.
But it's so faded and written over it'd be pointless to try and get it.

I recall some artwork being in the credits for the game... We may need to get a wiki entry up and coming at some point.

Firefox (tested on OS X) and Safari do, too. Looks like Google Safe Browsing currently doesn't like fringespace.org (http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=fringespace.org&hl=en-us). :blah:

It's dreamhost.com that's blacklisted, not just us. We've asked for them to fix it.
We've been working on Google's end of it as well.

These are mostly the same files from inside the game, turned from blueprints into line arts (what they were originally).
I enlarged them and put everything together along with hi res scans from the Mars Strat guide

I remember, on the disc, in the same folder as the manual, there was a reference sheet for the keyboard, and also, shows all ships from the sides too (although the Demon Pirate ship got blurred out).
Needless to say, great resource. I hope you get the page cleared from the blacklist soon.

The key chart is in our downloads section and the ship guides pics are on our ftp as needed.

Oops, sorry, looks like I and everyone else overlooked that part. Although for a statement that important, since attack site warnings are scary, it might have been good to make it more prominent, maybe something like this:
Important: If you get an attack site warning, just ignore it. The site is safe. [insert explanation here]

Are those 3D Ship screenshots ingame graphics from the original Tachyon?
I like that overview, nice to watch. IMO the lineart looks more detailed and sexy as the 3D.
Did you create/import some Ships yet? If not you may also prefer the lineart look, which looks way more evolved (for example: Most cockpits of 3D are straight, the ones from scribbles are rounded. The Hull from the drawings shows sexy shapes IMO).
Great Project. Looking forward to play it!
