32 fighters. Thats 4 per ship for Alpha and Beta wings  
Played it 4 times and only the last time did I have any trouble (ie: me alone vs about 19 of them)  
Don't worry they die quite fast (but so do your wingmen   )

I've started to notice that the hallmark of a really well designed mission is when its actually worth your while to help keep your wingmen alive. Some of the missions i've been testing are very much like that, Kudos to you guys.
If it aint broke, break it!

Well I usually lose 2 or 3 wingmen. I'm not the best pilot in the universe  
I try not to have a mission where your wingmen die every time.

The mod pack is currently 10mb which will be a BIG problem for me. (I have about 11mb left) The pack isn't even finnished yet!!!

Not much you can do sometimes about those silly wingmen.

BTW, I've almost got my first full-production FS2 mission done. I've dropped the idea of doing a campaign in favor of lots of individual missions. I like the freedom to not have to try to link mission ideas under a common story.

I have new screens from a chapter 3 test mission. They're on my site forum which has been neglected by me for some time, but no more. It also has info on the demo. The mod pack is on hold while more stuff is added

I did some small stuff mostly weapons desing and once i did something on a fighter i think it was adding the gun and missile points

I did basically reskins, conversions and missions. Now I do almost everything.

So expect many insane things in the future
