Hi guys,
I am a huge fan on Freespace and expecially of the OSP. Browsing through internet I saw that one of our fans has posted some information here on our game. I am the CEO of the company and let me clarifly on a few things here
.
First off story:
Totally reworked. No space peace militants nothing like that. All that was back in the times when the game was well Indie. We have a good storyline now presented in a very dramatic manner. Also the single-player storyline is supposed to be a prequel to what is going to be happening in the MMO part of the game.
Venture capital:
Well mate you know that would really make our life so much easier you cant even know
We are a self funded group that is proud of the work and development we put into the game. Also we have a huge progress on the game but unfortunately its nothing you can show in the trailer - multiplayer code, sector travelling, save points, new light rendering, better voxel rendering, graphical tuning options, logging in and out to the server, username and clan administration and I could go on and on
. We are well on our way to get a publisher though and if things work right we will be on this years E3.
Dan Wentz is on the team
Yes guys the man who did all your Freespace music and some levels is here with us working fulltime. Dan became the Head of Audio department at Keen prior to leaving Volition (Parallax)
VapourWare
Strictly NO. Its our way of living and we have invested a lot of our time and funds into the project we need to publish period.
Joystick support
Yes and even double stick support due to the strafing present in the game.
Theres a lot more information at our website
