reinstall FS2 and then install inferno without installing any other mods

Yes, my launcher has a problem with updating to 1.20 (it wont do it) and the same problems.

What's wrong with the FS2 explosions? They're awesome - a little low res maybe, but still top notch graphically.

Ok I updated and still the same problem. Do I even need the mainhall is there a way I can delete it from the tables.

I finally done it. I extracted all files to the right folders and then just deleted the mainhall table and all is fine! Great campaign!
