Oh yeah that was a touching part of the game, having flash backs to the ship when walking through the ice/snow covered wreckage.

Its a DLC from the Cerberus network dekker if that's what your meaning.

Re: Most Emotional/Impactful Moment In A Game (Possible Spoilers!)
In no particular order:

1: Homeworld 1, Cataclysm, and 2
-Seeing Karhak burning plus the fantastic orchesteral music (which I have always loved HW for), I couldn't keep myself from crying  :(
-The Beast voice. Something about it is just plain scary.
-When you abandon the Pride of Hiigara in the Balcora cluster. It was such a pretty ship too....

2: Mass Effect 1+2
-The ending to the first one was emotional when you thought everyone was dead. For a minute anyway.
-The Normandy crash site. Second that one.

3: FEAR
-When Alma blows up the building you're in while you run away in slow motion. Don't **** with the ghost kid.

4: Descent 3
-Loosing the Pyro was like loosing your favorite car. Well, watching it cruely burn to a crisp anyway.

Raider Wars:
Spoiler:
When the Asimov goes down, and subsequently when you apprehend the rich arse responsible for it.

IL-2 Sturmovik: No scripted events or gameplay with plot, but lots and lots of cases in multiplayer, playing with real people, when they or you die... or when you fly as a team and fly a really successful sortie, and return to base with several kills each. And the times when you manage to return to base heavily damaged, your field of view covered in oil and blood... or manage to drop several tons of bombs right on target from 4000 metres from heavy flak. I just hope I'll be able to recruit all the people in the comms sometime to fly as one massive bomber formation, with maybe just a few escort fighters.

Red Baron. First time I was assigned to the same squadron as the famous aces (Richthofens, Voss, Göring, Udet, Fonck, Immelmann, Rickenbacker etc...) and realizing that they suck horribly and I'd be better off flying alone since they had alarming tendency to die on my watch - or they collided in me. Resulted in me always flying all the sorties solo whenever possible.

War in Heaven: several [REDACTED]

Grand Prix 2: Managing to set-up the car so well on some track that I could break the records and win races. Also, lack of Senna and Razenberger on the grid. :blah:

Interestingly, Mass Effect's choice on Virmire wasn't really THAT hard for me. I had assigned Alenko to the Salarian Task Group team and was already on my way there, and if I ever learned something in the army is that second-guessing and running back and forth in battle zone is not desireable. Add to that the fact that Lt. Alenko was accompanied with several Salarians and that Gunnery Chief Williams was alone, the choice from military perspective was clear. Also, I never was very attacted to Ashley's character in the first place (I never really had any use for her on missions since my Shepard is a soldier, plus I found myself disagreeing with a lot of her opinions and views, so meh).

Mainly, though, I went to save the Salarians. Kirrahee's speech was more awesome than anything Ashley OR Kaidan ever did for me.

Which by the way I am going to include here. HOLD THE LINE!

Another stuff in ME/ME2:
-Fai Dan shooting himself. We had those nifty gas grenades, we could've just put him to sleep...
Spoiler:
-Loss of the SSV Normandy in the beginning of the game.
-Tali'Zorah's loyalty mission
-Meeting Liara in ME2 and asking what's the real reason she's so troubled.
-Samara's loyalty mission. Talk about creepy. :nervous:
-Stag Party group consisting of a Salarian (groom to come), a Turian and a Human watching an Asari exotic dancer. They all thought the Asari looked exactly like their own species. Think of this for a while if you don't immediately realize the implications of how disturbing this is.
-Firing the Cain Nuke Launcher for the first time. :shaking:

TIE Fighter, the few missions where your wingman is the goddamn Darth Vader and you're tasked with saving the Emperor (what the hell Palpatine, how did you let them rebel scum to abduct you?)

There are three things that last forever: Abort, Retry, Fail - and the greatest of these is Fail.

Yeah I liked that part too.

Re: Most Emotional/Impactful Moment In A Game (Possible Spoilers!)
Definetely also Karhak....

Seeing that school bus in Prey was pretty unnerving too.  And how about just as you exited the boat in Morrowind and realized how big the world was.
That's cool and ....disturbing at the same time o_o  - Vasudan Admiral

Re: Most Emotional/Impactful Moment In A Game (Possible Spoilers!)
WoW -  beating Rag the first time, beating Twin emps the first time. Beating Kael the first time (before he was nerfed), beating Illidan the first time (because I was a paladin, and tanking mostly), going to the top of the my Arena 5s league in season 1, the time I spent with Feitan and Shizumi helping them get to Grand Marshal (and getting Marshal as a coincidental of that).

Neocron - Running solo into the middle of 200 hostile people on my PE and surviving long enough for the rest of the clan to come over the hill, line up all the AoEs and nuke the crap outta all of them as they chased me, and the fact that I still survived. Also, and especially the battles of Jeriko fortress (800+ people, 36 hours straight of combat), Emmerson Factory, and Soliko Lab. (Neocron is a game where combat is balanced for 1on1 for the most part, so you can imagine what massive scale combat like that must have been like).

FFVII - obvious moment.
FFVIII - so I was a sucker for Eyes on Me, the rest of it kinda meh though.

Runner up twix games player of the world competition, finals = Golden Eye multiplayer, Lisence to Kill Pistols infront of hundreds of people in London.

FreeSpace - the loss of the Galatea/the loss of Vasuda Prime and the mission immediately after, playing with Spectre, and joining the SSC, my first online clan, one which I stuck with for close to two decades.
FreeSpace 2 - Escorting the Bastion, absolutely destroying DW with BD in the final Squadwar season to end up as champions.

Secret of Mana - Finale <3

F.E.A.R 2 - The uhh..... .........fun, at the end? holy **** that was disturbing.

Mass Effect - Several moments, but Virmere especially.
Mass Effect 2 - Man, I loved this game, basically every major character event is worth mentioning.

Lylat Wars - If I go down I'm taking you with me!

I'm sure I missed loads, and aside from ME and FS I tried to avoid ones that had already been mentioned :P

-When I was able to finish Freespace 1, after the release of french patch 1.04
Spoiler:
can't finish it before because it had a bug in the Asimov/Ravage defense mission : infinite waves of bombers. Being triple ace on a single mission for...nothing
-The ending cutscene music in FF VI (PS One version).

-The Sunspire level in Unreal 1, and the general mood of the game.

-Mass Effect 1, when...
Spoiler:
Sovereign attacks the Citadel. Great epic moment.
-+1 for Kharak  :(

-The Longest Journey & Dreamfall. Great games who deserve better recognition.

-Red Alert 2 (excellent and hilarious cutscenes)

-Eternal Darkness : Sanity's Requiem. This whole mother****ing extraordinary game.

-Silent Hill 2  :shaking:

And I hear almost everyday that videogame is NOT an art

glad to see some TBP stuff here. Yeah, the guys behind that campaign really nailed it.

My list:

- the Mass Effect 1 Virmire mission. Awesome stuff  :)
- ModernWarfare 1's "Shock and Awe" Mission. Incredible resolution in that chapter.
- Advent Rising's "becoming a god" part, so pretty much the later half of the game (especially the ending)
- KOTOR2's Kreia character and everything she ever does in the whole game
- two missions of my very own campaign FortuneHunters 2261 (I know that's cheating but what the hell, this is my best work so far)
- the original StarCraft's Terran Campaign resolution (the whole thing with Mensk)
- my first ever minutes spend with the original God of War

Re: Most Emotional/Impactful Moment In A Game (Possible Spoilers!)
I don't remember much from my youth days of playing games, I don't think there was too much emotional or impactful stuff (apart from the obvious "hell yeah I finally did it!" moments). At least not much that lasted in my memory for long.

One exception: I do remember until today that the intro of Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance hit just the right spot, as it really got me pumped for revenge:  :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxfKZZ4RNng

Apart from that I'd only be able to recall recent Freespace moments, especially from some of the newer campaigns. ;)
