Title: please help noob with question about migrating user data after .exe change
Post by: PJP on January 05, 2009, 07:22:21 pm
I started playing The Babylon Project a short time ago but have a problem.

When I set up the program, I configured the launcher to use "fs2_open_3_6_9.exe" and completed several campaigns (through FH2259). Then I realized I should have been using "fs2_open_3_6_9_INF.exe" with the launcher.

Unfortunately, when I reconfigured the launcher (to use "fs2_open_3_6_9_INF.exe"), the game lost track of all my progress.

I'd really like to keep playing from where I left off.   Is there a way I can do that? If so, how (I'm guessing I might move data between some of the files in the Babylon  Project\data\players\single directory, but I don't know what to do).

Thanks.

Unfortunately not you need to start the campaign over.  Inferno pilot files aren't compatible with the regular ones.

still, you can complete all campaigns that don't require the INF build.

INF only are:
FH2260
DarkChildren
B5 StarFury Pilot

anything else?
