Title: I sense that R3 is close at hand....

I had a look a the main page and just about fainted when i saw that there was an R3 download section set up, then i just about cried when i discovered that it is empty.   can we expect it to fill up soon?

Theres a lot stewing in the background most of you don't even have a clue about. :) In a long road it does have importance but it does not affect R3.0 directly.

Any idea on how big it is? and will it be download friendly to us 56kers (cos stupid bt wont put a broadband line until 2005 in where i live)  sorry 4 the wee rant.

I expect final size to be around 250 MB. And that's without any missions and mission specific files.

Does this mean the team is concentrating on things slated for releases later than R3? If so why not just finish R3 before moving onto later stuff?

I would just hope R3 doesn't get delayed any more than it's necessary for it to be completed. Ah, guess I just really want to play R3 :sigh:

Actually I have seen alot of internal activity which is a positive sign.

Internal forum activity has nothing to do with it. :) I may have hinted about it at internal but thats about it. :D
Why? Because nothing is sure yet, it may or may not happen.
