After certain discussions many members claimed that Councilor's model should not be considered an high poly version of the Sathanas but rather a separate model. Side by side comparison served as evidence.

No. It needs turrets (and it is too different from the original to just copy the turrets over), as well as the fact that the model needs some cleanup. Plus new LODs (same reason) and probably debris.

So finish it. Use turrets from other capships. Like the double bareled multi-parts can be taken from TrashMan's Orion Mk2, etc.

I don't think you're comprehending the amount of work that goes into this kind of stuff. Especially for a ship that has that many turrets, all of which need their firepoints and other various data set up. It's just not that simple. I'd like to see it finished as much as the next person, but there are few people who have enough time to commit to making it happen.

It does need texture mapping and a lot of cleanup. Anyone who's worked with booleans understands what a mess it makes. I have the model on my HD at school but I won't be able to upload it anytime soon--far too much other work to do.

It was given to ED at some point as a Cinema 4D file. None of us can do anything with that file format, however
