hi there,

i have a question..

if i use a usermade ship... for example the GTBC Blade.. in one of my campaings.
in order to be more friendly - lore i can change his name? for a greek one?  ;)

A change of ship's class-name can either be done on a per mission basis (Alt-Name-feature under ship specs in FRED) or in the .tbm-file that adds the ship to your modpack...

The .tbm file should be located in the \data\tables-subfolder of your mod folder and can be edited with a simple texteditor. In that file you will find a a line like this:
Code: [Select]
$Name: [exampleship]It has to be on top of all other ship data. Just exchange the value behind the colon with what you want.

As long as you make mention somewhere (end credits cutscene, a credits.txt or custom credits.tbl) that ship X was modelled by person Y, no.
