Get the latest FSOpen and run it with the -htl flag. This has REALLY improved my fps!

Actually you need the INF Build otherwise m3 will crash.

m3 works fine for me.... I think that it only crashes when its out of memory, just log off then back in in XP

oops m8 not 3

One of the freighters in m8 breaks the texture limit, but will work fine in our build.

the INF build can be run with the -htl tag anyway so the tip still works

The INF build is a special build of FS Open with higher ship and HTL limits, with the drawback that multiplayer probably won't work.

It can be found here:
http://www.swooh.com/peon/phreak/

It's required for the next INF release.
