It's easier than you think.  I was on tolwyns original team.  Pre-saga, I re-created the first few missions from wing commander 4. 


Just run through the tutorials and play with the events manager, (Shift+e) you'll find your way around.

(Did you catch my name being a reference to WC4?)

I recognized it.  Wasn't he also in Prophecy too?  I played all the Wing Commander games though I started with Super Nintendo as we could not afford a computer until later.  Played Wing Commander III on my old Pentium 75, only not in Super VGA since I did not have enough video memory.  Played all the Fan made Wing Commander games based on Prophecy.  Getting better at Fred but Wing Commander Saga is not for beginners.  Though starting from an existing setup will make the whole launch and nav points easier.

I looked again at the Wing Commander Saga Fred2.  No chance in heck I could do that yet.

He was a Colonel in Prophecy yeah.

I started on Snes too my guy  :D

Regarding the editor, you're better off asking in the FRED forum, reading the fred tutorial documents, che king our wiki, or asking the masters directly on Discord (linked at the top of this page)  :)
