Hello everyone!
     I have a little question for those of you who use gmax.  Is there a way to move a vertex along an already existing line?  That would make things much easier for me.  Thanks to anyone who can help!

you could make a helper grid and then switch you coordinate thing to 'Grid' and that will reorient that xyz compass thing.
