Going through the agony that is DreamCatcher's Frank Herbert's Dune, which has to be one of the worst third-person action games ever published.  I first played it long before I read the novel, but I was completely stuck at one point, so I decided to try it again and see if I can finally beat the damn thing, and see how else it manages to muck up the source material.

Haa...just in the thirty seconds, they bring up the Exit button not even working.

But seriously, besides being a horrible game in its own right, it's also an abysmal port of the PS2 version.  You know things are starting off on the right foot when you can't even use the keyboard to type in your profile name.  There's a note in the game booklet saying that the controls aren't customizable because "the engine doesn't support it."  So...yeah.

Oh, just keep watching.  It gets worse.  Though on the plus side, at least my copy spelled "Frank" properly, and the cutscene audio actually plays through correctly.

In any case, I finally beat the accursed thing.  I eked past the mission I was stuck on, got through the immensely irritating beginning to the next one, and flew through the final, which was just about laughable compared to the previous two.  Now I never have to touch that CD again.

I just dig up what game I haven't played for some time in my PC. So I recently played Fallout New Vegas. Though I play Fire Emblem Awakening on 3DS if I am not on my computer.

Witcher...at 1 to 0 fps when more than the sky is visable. THen after ragequitting, Arcanum. I would have gone for fallout, but the lack of "X does Y amount of damage" for weapons, bugs me.

Yeah, there's something deeply wrong with the engine, but I recommend tinkering with the video settings. It is a really good game once you get into it.

Finished grinding my Highlanders through elite.  The 732 and 733C where a snap and are fun to run but the 733P was a bit of a pain.  I want to like it but it just seems to be an unlucky steed.

Everything was set to the minimum. My rig is just far too outdated for the game.
