I think the normals might be a bit overdone, but the Destroyer is certainly impressive.

Nice interceptor. Though I will say from looking at in-game shots it needs better exhaust plume effects. That long exhaust streamer would work wonders for it...

@Thaeris : Don't worry, we're already using proper engine trails for our strike crafts, they just don't appear here because the inty isn't moving

And for the 10th anniversary interceptor, well we're planning to only use retail HW ships, so we (as far as I know) didn't work on it yet. But anyone interested in modeling/texturing/pofing it is warmly encouraged to do so

Surprisingly it's the last screenshot that's really gotten me - especially that... whatever that thing is... on the bottom left, and not the ships.

Somehow I kind-of feel that, to really capture the Homeworld universe, there needs to be a lot of play on the backgrounds. Probably just me though, but from what little I played out of HW2 (never played the first), all the cutscenes and some of those places where you have those mysterious giant installations as part of the background...

The feeling of mystery in a really, really deep and dark sea of space. That gaping white hole... just what IS behind it? It looks like a place you can go to, yet you know you can never really "go there".

That... is Homeworld.

At least, to me anyway XD

For now, entirely new musics. I'm still trying and convincing them to use HW2 tracks too though
