Opaque Shield effects
Sorry if this is the incorrect method of submitting something like this...

Just found out I needed to enable OpenGL to get the real nifty Specular effects.  It looks AWESOME, but there's a problem.  The shield effects looks like this:
*image removed*

That big black thing in the middle is an Anubis being shot.

Here's my command line.
C:\Games\FreeSpace2\fs2_open_r-20060716.exe -mod mediavps -spec -glow -env -jpgtga -mipmap -missile_lighting -dualscanlines -targetinfo -rearm_timer -ballistic_gauge -ship_choice_3d -3dwarp -warp_flash -snd_preload

I downloaded the Shivan 1.8 pack, and I have a ATI Radeon X800 Pro with updated drivers.  What can I do about this, as I love the new graphical features, but the opaque shield hit effects are a big turn off.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ah, cool, looks like that fixed it!  Thanks!
