Actually there is an upgraded version of jake wars called Allied Forces.  http://www.freespacemods.net/download.php?view.60

You might also want to try Allied worlds which is a prequel.

Both of these were by Alex Harris, who was the creator of the original Jake Wars

Normal people believe that if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it isn't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

I finished Allied Forces in 3.6.12 just fine.

in my archives I found the file "Jake_War_2 vll" made back in 3/12/2005 with a size of 418kb.  I believe that there were 3 Jake Wars, not 2. :wtf:
