How do you ajust the mod ini?  i have the FSport3_0_4 installed in a folder called FSport, so what should i do because i keep getting this

OK, now that my head hurts, I think that we shall move along.  What you need to do is this.
If you open the mod.ini file, located in your Rain on Ribos 4 folder, you shall see this part:

[multimod]
secondrylist = FS1_port_3,mediavps;

Now, since you said that you have the FSPort in a folder called FSport, you'll adjust the part so that it'll look like this:

[multimod]
secondrylist = FSport,mediavps;

Easy, ain't it. Now, go and enjoy the campaign.

Some people haven't even tried. Like me. I started the SCP three years ago and I'm only starting to get into FREDding etc. now.

Hmm, I see. I assumed that messing around with mod.ini files would be a basic thing for all SCP players. At least I learned the basics within a week when I had installed SCP.
I had managed to get a mod (ITHOV) to work, but the graphical improvements weren't working. So I said to myself: "Steve... I mean Al... I mean Lobo. Something is not right here. There has got to be a way to use both the ITHOV and the media-vps." So I searched the forums for references to mod.ini and eventually learned everything that I needed from Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. I mean, the basic settings are quite simple. It's just that one line, where the word "mediavp" has to match your mediavp folder's name, and the word fsport that has to match your fsport folder's name.
It just feels weird to encounter people who have played Freespace for months, years even and hear comments like "WTF? mod.ini? Wot teh hell?". Maybe we need a link to Karajorma's site on the main page or something.

When i joined the FS community there was no SCP only things like Warzone, derelict, i always put with mod inis and scp stuff was that you needed to know how to do programming in ie c++, which i can't so i have always just limited myself to just doing TBls editing and fredding

Well, I have to admit that I was too extremely sceptic about files ending with .ini, but I eventually pulled myself together and opened one. It was positively stunning to see that they are actually not that complicated. And once you have one mod.ini, you can always copy it to new mod folders when needed. Or just adjust those mediavp and fsport references, if a mod.ini is supplied with the mod.

In the mission where the Pinnacle blockades the node. It was destroyed about 3/4 done the mission and then command had a good long conversation with them.

1 - dunno --- looks like the anis for the FS1 primary-weapons are unavalible

2 - hmm... I'll check -- the event which follows the Demon's arrival should not be tiggered when the Pinnacle is down -- but I have to give in that there had been frequent FRED-crashes during the makeing and maybe that little bit got lost in between

it is ment to be hard...but it gets much easier if you get the wing organized (like all missions of this campaign are)

also you should always remember the target priority should be BBBC (Bombs, Bombers, Basilisks and than Cruisers)

to make it way easier you could arm yourself with more Phoenix Vs in the mission before... and try not to shoot them all away (or try to rearm while the cargo is being hauled away)

Organized how? I told them to guard the Pinnacle, and then Delta and Alpha to guard nthe cruisers, and then the Pinnacle, and then I told one of my wings to guard the third cruiser.

Or you can be a cheater like I am and tweak Vasudan Turrets to actually do something usefull

Spoilers, but if you're still reading this, GO DOWNLOAD THE CAMPAIGN!

I had to play it a few times before beating it, but I thought it wasn't that difficult. Try playing on Medium. Also, don't do anything complicated with your wingmen, just have them guard the Pinnacle. No way you're going to save the cruiser. Basically you have to just fly like a maniac and kill as many bombers as you can.

Any time you think a mission is too easy/too hard, remember, the difficulty settings are there for a reason.

Nice work on the campaign, Orpheus. Doesn't have the polished feel of the "major" campaigns (PI, Derelict, etc.) because of some grammar errors and mission bugs, but I'm not one to care about small details like that. Great atmosphere in some parts, and an interesting approach to mission balancing. Really feels like you're fighting "the horde".

If you haven't played it yet, do so. It starts out slow, but gets much more interesting after the first few missions. 8/10.

Heres a thing, the Debriefs are too short.(Nice campaign though).And i remember a ship saying "We will fighter to the end."

I didn't have a problem with the debriefs. I rarely read them anyway. In RL, the "debrief" is the time after the misison where the pilots discuss what went wrong, evaluate the plan, pool intelligence, etc. It's not some kind of 2-minute lecture. I'm fine with your approach. Not overblown at all.

You know, I wanted to have this voice acted -- but I dropped the approach 'casue of the my previous failures to assemble a dedicated team for campaign building or creating such campaign features as voice acting (the only exception is "Workings of the Warp" but that is another matter)

- if there is anyone who wants to lead the charge of voice acting this campaign he/she can count on my full support

I don't read debriefs in many cases either -- and I mostly work them out further than one or two lines per mission opjective if there is a special event OR Command Briefings are not held

the remaining grammar/spelling errors slipped past my vash copy & past effort -- I actually have corrected versions of each mission on my PC (but in MS Word Files)
if there will be voice acted version in the future I promise they will be fixed!

i think too one or two phrases on the debriefing will be nice, a human feel better if he get more details and commendation after a hard day of work  .
and theres a little other problem, you often used the same pharse on end of the debriefing.

but aside this, its a nice and good campaine, good work

Requires: FS2SCP 3.6.9 and FS1Port 3.0.4

Excellent Campaign which plays out the last few days of the Tombaugh station.

Unlike most FS1Port Campaigns, you start with good weapons and shields which adds to the fun factor, there is no stuffing around with missions where you can't do a thing! Missions are varied and well done. There are a few typos as if it had been done by someone from another country. (Maybe Was) Best part is all the missions in the game are rock solid, It's not one of those 30 mission campaigns where you end up finding out you just gotta fly from point a to point b in 20 of them.

I definatelly recommend it to any Freespace 2SCP player.
