Is "Wings" still alive? I thought it died with all the "Freespace Atmospheric" stuff in a HD crash. Or is "Wings2" something different?

Wings 2 is a separate project, taking place 300 years after the original. A backup of Wings from 01/2010 has been uncovered and will eventually be released as a dump.

As for the other "atmospheric" mods, I think ShadowGorrath's DEFCON FreeSpace was set back by at least one hard drive crash and I have no idea of its status and at this point no real interest in it. Dragon's Aces High is IIRC still being worked on.

Well, I didn't found how to improve the gun convergence. Without the auto-aim, it will take hours to take down only one Tie.

The models are from Warlords (Homeworld 2 mods) from 2005, IIRC. The mods are now in SOASE. But I didn't check out the latest release for SOASE.
