Is done!
I know, it's not on the list AND its prequel, to boot.

It could work very well as a nonaligned ship. That it wasn't featured in the original movies doesn't mean it wasn't around in actual use.
-
lets face it there are countless cannon ships that are ancient, even the falcon goes back to the prequels
-
Well, more civie ships are always fun :3

Awesome! Nothing like having a finished ship dropped on you from out of nowhere to brighten up your day :D This should definitely get used--with a non-Republic paintjob it could be a perfect civilian transport or medium freighter in the Galactic Civil War era.
-
Why a non-republic painting? A republic painting is symbolic for the rebell alliance.
Oh and good work.
-
What's that thing on the front? normal maps?
-
Yeah, it's a bit rough in this image. It's been toned down since.

Independent or commercial factions wouldn't use Old Republic colors during the Imperial era unless they wanted to draw suspicion from the authorities, and the Alliance wasn't big on wasting paint on their ships. The only canon rebel vessel (besides the fighters) that has a bold paint scheme on it is the Corellian Corvette, and that is technically because the original model was supposed to represent a diplomatic vessel. It would make no sense for a ship that was carrying supplies or personnel for the Alliance to draw attention to themselves--they should be trying to blend in with all the other starship traffic. The original coloration is still great for Republic era missions, though.
bobbtman: it looks like some of the white area on the lip at the front maybe should be red? Just a suggestion based on the Ep 1 version seen here--dunno if you're working from a different source.

The material making up the front top portion of the plating seems a little bumpy for sheet metal.

Useless tidbit here: By Episode 3 the Millenium Falcon was more than 10 years old.

People need to figure out the difference between canon and cannon
Oh, yes. Maybe we need a similar emoticon to this one: alot Only it'd say "I don't know the difference between canon and a cannon" :D
-
There's just the problem that both words actually exist. Alot doesn't... well not officially :)
Hey, and the shuttle looks great! I hate it's design but that's not your fault but ILM's ;)

People need to figure out the difference between canon and cannon
Just because the pun is relevant here.............
"Don't use a cannon to kill a mosquito." -Confucius (sort of.....)
:)
Which if you think about it this pun has a lot of relevance to Star Wars in general.

So am I to take it that after finishing this mod you'll be making a WWII conversion for FS2?
-
Absolutely not.
-
But we need more good WWII flight sims! The best one for Pacific campaign (CFS2) is missing several key components to it. Although the time it was made it was great.
-
We also need more good SW space sims, and we happen to be working on one. :P

Probably not quite as close as we will be a month from now though.
