Hey all,

As the subject says, FS2 crashes as soon as the first mission loads. (A Blue Planet...)

I'm not sure what is causing this, as I have tried reinstalling BP multiple times, but to no avail. Though from the opening line in that log, it would appear that something had gone wrong when loading the command brief.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Please post your fs2_open.log file.  Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.

I can already tell that this is due to an improperly installed mod. Either BP or the mediavps are not set up right.

Also, I have tried using the BP Complete installer, as well as manually installing. It still spits out that error.

MVPs seem to check out, I've double checked that those were installed correctly as well. I also loaded up a mission in there to be safe.

That's odd. When I was reinstalling FS2 earlier this week, I specifically remember downloading every required file.

Oh well. Going to fix this now.
