I have started a topic on interplay forum aout team wars and FreeSpace3.

If you want to see FS3 made, or know people who would like to see fs3 made, please feel welcome to use link and ^BUMP^ the topic.

Cummon guys, time we took it to interplay and gave them a clue as to what people realy would like to see them do.................

Guys, I encourage you all to go and ask for freespace3 on that website. I will right now.
I think this may work if we get enough people to do this... and awaken Volution!
Any other forums that has alot of people on it, i'd encourage you to do as i did, and continue this fourm-post there; Let this reach everyone, every pilot.
I forgot the last thing i was going to say. Oh well.

Karajorma's FAQ contains a very convincible article why FS3 will never be released. And the Wiki documentation also has the reasons listed. :(

And thinking about it.... partly i'm happy that there wont be a FS3.  It would probably nothing that could really compare to FS1 & FS2. It would be some cheap crappy 'remake'.

FreeSpace 3 would be wonderful if it didn't have that anti-human Ai like FS2 has ....

a) it would be a console game (that's right)
b) it would run very slow (not like the SCP)
c) it would look like a 5 minute rush job
d) the story wouldnt be credible
e) caps would be 100 km long and the player wouldnt have the slightest influence anymore, only huge battle stuff, more POWERFUL AND UBAR beams, etc...

Why? Simple. None of the original Staff works for Interplay. Most of them dont even work for Volition anymore.

Since you didn't bother too look here's what I said about FS3 in my FAQ. From what I've heard almost everyone seems to agree with my point of view on why FS3 shouldn't be mentioned.
