The default launcher has... issues on newer operating systems. Use wxLauncher instead.

In spite of all help rendered . I realize it has all been in vain. My Warthog Hostas is not recognized, so no joystick.

Apparently you need to create a profile on Thrustmaster's profiling software to make the throttle and joystick to appear as one device. Then you should be able to select that device on wxLauncher, although the list may just show "Microsoft PC-joystick driver" without identifying the device (if you have multiple controllers, you may need to find the right one by trial and error).
There are three things that last forever: Abort, Retry, Fail - and the greatest of these is Fail.

Thanks Herra, didn't realize that the microsoft drivers were relevant.
Just realized that my wx launcher has no play button and I don't think that my graphics card has been recognized.
Seems to be one step forward and two steps back!

Everything looks huge. The play button is at the bottom of that window and cannot be seen in that instance. It looks like you have your Windows text size set to something very large. Try lowering it, to 100% if at all possible.

Also, wxLauncher doesn't work properly with a vertical resolution less than (I think) 660 pixels. That might also be causing the play button to be chopped off... and if that is the problem then I don't think there's a solution yet :(  (assuming that the old 5.5g launcher doesn't work on win 10... I guess you could try YAL which I think it also available in the installer)

That screenshot is 1080 pixels tall, so the problem is the large text size rather than the resolution.

Yes I had this problem too, with the play button being cut off at the bottom. I had to reduce my DPI settings/Text size to 100% for it to show up again.

Thanks once again to all , yes changing the dpi settings did the trick. Thought that I had F----D up again and so the launcher wasn't working correctly. :p :D :lol:
