Hi  I am no programer and only have some xp installing games.    Am 52 and still have a hard time finding the folders that you guys ask me to put them in lool...

Anyway I got this game off of my sisters kid and installed the freespace 2 game.   started up and all was great.   then lookiing for new grafic settings, I found this web site.    So longer story short,  I installed the  newest freespaceinstaller and the 5.5E Open Launcher.    All things worked perfectly )  Thank you all for all your very hard work.      Because of the new install, I deleted the one starting pilot and made a new one.  (doublechecked)    This new game I started, with MOD Freespce 11 3.6.10 mediavps.  Because it was a new game, I had to redo the training missions, (needed to anyway)   all worked up to TSM-107m.

Finished the 103a TSM and clicked for the next TSM to start.  Right away the game crashed to desktop with the following stack error report.  Copied and pasted in notepad (as stated on error box)

Did the reading in forums to see if problem was reported, could find one and did 99% of doublechecking of things that your web QA asked of reporters before they posted.    

Restarted the game (same pilot) and no MOD.   Worked just fine and continued the training TSM 107m    Completed and started 107se.    I did not finish the TSM mission, I closed game down and restarted game with MOD mediavps, cannot replay the 107m mission crashes, but can move on to 107se.

You need the patch for the mediavps, found here: http://freespacemods.net/files/MVP3610/3610_Patch.zip

Unzip it into your mediavps directory.

• Upon starting the mission "Training 4" (the mission after you were chasing the Iceni), you get the error:

  This is because somehow you downloaded the re-released MediaVPs but missed the patch! So the solution is to just make sure you have the '3610_Patch.vp' file in your mediavps mod folder with all the others and it all should work again.
