if you remember correctly, i was one of the ****ers responsible for a few test missions and truly oversaturated screenies

but, in short, no not yet. it as a whole needs a whole lot more testing and a whole lot more control to be viable for regular use.


however, it has been tested ingame and looks interesting, tho not truly remarkable, due to the crappiness of the current models.

Is the point of this shot the ships or the background? Because although the ships are (I guess) decent, the background (and the title, which brings attention to it) isn't all that great (IMHO).

A bit of both. I'm doing tests with the models and also making new backgrounds. In the start I was only doing a background, then added the ships to see how it fit together. The point of the shot is also collecting feedback.
