Thanks General, are these in a series or all independent of each other? Got a link? I'm looking at a Freespace Mods page but I'm not sure if these are current..

@Dilmah G, thanks man, I appreciate the good intentions and the help... @General, I think I've played Transcend.. the one with the trippy space that makes you dizzy? I was wondering why I could never choose my ship when I played through it the first time......??

They are not a series, they're independent, and yes Transcend did have a subspace mission.

If you don't mind downloading a few GB woth of stand-alone mod, "Fortune Hunters", "Drums of War", "Raiderwars", "Earth-Brakiri War" and "Dark Children" for TBP are very good as well. Though being TBP it will be a different experience from "normal" FreeSpace. Especially Dark Children, but I don't want to spoil the surprise
