Note that I said Silent Threat, not Silent Threat: Reborn. ;) This is for the mission pack that will be released with 3.1.
Basically, we don't know what star systems certain ST missions take place in, and since ST jumps all over the map, we can't interpolate fleet movements. So we'll put it to you guys for a vote.
The only consequence of this poll is that the popular choices will be reflected in which of Admiral Nelson's system backgrounds will be used in that mission. It has nothing to do with plot or any other nefarious purposes. :)
Here's the list I have so far:
md-01: Vega
md-02: Vega
md-03: Beta Aquilae
md-04: Ikeya
md-05: most likely Beta Aquilae
md-06: Deneb
md-07: Unknown
md-08: Unknown
md-09: Unknown
md-10: Ross 128
md-11: most likely Delta Serpentis
md-12: Beta Aquilae
It's missions 7, 8, and 9 that we're most concerned about.

MD-01 and MD-02 cont be the same system... is a plot error...

Yeah, I know. The most logical location for MD-02 is Deneb. Nevertheless, as stated in a later command briefing, MD-02 takes place in Vega.

No, because the pods mission is in Beta Aquilae... so for me what is wrong in plot is the location of the first mission... i should be Capella or Deneb.

md-01, command briefing stage 4:
The GTA and the PVN are conducting joint operations in the Vega system.
md-07, command briefing stage 3:
The appearance of the Einstein in the Vega System is also troubling.
md-03, briefing stage 1:
GTI has located the Einstein's escape pods in the Beta Aquilae sector.
Voila. I suggested Deneb for md-02 because it's a Vasudan system, but your alternative suggestion is also a good one. Unfortunately, both suggestions are contradicted by the missions.

yeah I agree that MD-02 is in Vega, there is not other option, because MD-03 say the pods are in Beta Aquilae...
What leave me to think that MD-01 should be in Deneb o Capella... no Vega :P, i now that briefs say Vega, but that is simply, noy posible.

so wait, you guys standardized the look of the nebulas so that across all campaigns, the nebula color is consistent with where you are ?

MD-07 should be a distant or aislated system or something, most likely 1 node system... Like Procyon A, Adhara or Mirtak...
Could be Beta Cygni or Betelguse too, but the Shivans attacked those system in the beginning od the great war, a station that close to a jump node should be destroyed...
MD-08 most likely Beta Aquilae...
MD-09 no idea... but Delta Serpentis sounds good.
